Why do this?

I love turning complex ideas into visuals that make people stop and say, “Oh, I get it!” I combines a deep respect for accuracy with a flair for creativity, using 3D CGI to craft illustrations and animations that bring science, medicine, and technology to life. Whether it’s explaining a breakthrough surgical procedure, showcasing a biotech innovation, or giving energy to a technical concept, My goal is always the same—make it clear, make it beautiful, and make it connect. I thrives on collaborating with scientists, physicians, engineers, marketers, and anyone who shares a passion for great visual communication.

W3 – Pipe Handler

Assignment: Bring a CAD model to life for the Offshore Technology Conference (Houston, TX)

Challenge: Various product offerings from Canrig Drilling Technology were being integrated into a large format trade show wall graphic. Photographs existed for all of the products except the Under-slung Pipe Handling System. A CAD model was imported, textured, lit, and then placed into a scene with a CG drilling rig and stands of drill pipe. The scene was rendered and composited with a sky that matched all of the other photographs.

Results: The image integrated seamlessly into the large panel allowing the client and the designer to leverage the existing photos without compromising the quality of the display for one product. Seeing was truly believing in this case.

Media: Technical illustration

Techniques: 3D modeling, CAD translation, compositing, photo editing
